Last week I ordered some learning material from Amazon. Today, I received my package. Believe it or not, I was (somewhat) hesitant to open the package. I thought, "Either this stuff is going to be awesome, or, it's going to be horrible." I wasn't sure what I was going to find.
Once I opened the package, my eyes saw the most beautiful 211 page manual/workbook I have ever seen. Then I saw 4 DVDs. I immediately played them on my Mac and they sounded perfect. Everything was exceptional. I couldn't be happier.
The reason I'm sharing my story with you is to show you how difficult it can be (at times) to trust. It's not that I didn't trust the seller on Amazon, it's that (sometimes) I don't trust my gut.
Not trusting your gut can be a problem. Why? Because it throws off the natural power of intention. In other words, intention is based off of putting something out there with the belief that it will occur.
So every time you question a purchase, a decision, a movement forward, you're stopping your progress. And if you know my work (and my word), becoming your best and building success is really important to live a happy and fulfilling life.
How about you? Are you setting intentions for your life? Are you listening to your gut? Do you allow yourself to move forward when it's time to? I hope so. But if you're not, don't stress out about it.
Think of your day like a package from Amazon. You can either be excited and embrace what's in there, or you can be worried and feel bad every time you look at it. Trust your gut. Have positive feelings about every decision you make.
And, if you do make a mistake just tell yourself, "Hey, next time, I'll know better."
