No Is No

This post was written for people who
(always) help others before they (ever) help themselves. That can feel right (and sometimes it is). But, when you chronically focus your time and attention on others, you cut off love and respect to yourself. And, overtime, this will become a problem.

Think about it. It takes self-love and self-respect to grow, to pursue one's dreams, to stand up for what is right. And, the best outcome of self-care, is that the very people you are trying to take care of, now respect you, because you respect yourself.

Simply put, self-care is about self-respect. Take time for yourself when needed. Say no, when the answer needs to be no. Don't feel guilty for believing in yourself. Stay strong when someone pressures you to go against what you believe in.

In order to live your life to your full potential, you must believe that you are worthy of the very thing you give to everyone else -- love and respect.
