Examples of things to set aside
Put a $10 in your underwear drawer.
Buy an extra can of green beans and put in the back of the cupboard.
Grab an extra tube of toothpaste when you're in Target.
Examples of non-things to set aside
Have a friend ready when you need to talk at 3 a.m.
Tuck in your brain that it's ok to save a little energy for when you need it.
Give yourself the notion that you can get strong when you need to.
Plan for It
See, there will be times when you're running on fumes. Your body will ache. Your brain will not be able to handle the sheer amount of effort it takes to keep going. But, if you have some reserves before things hit the fan, you'll make it through.
Consider This Recommendation
I recommend you plan for a rainy day. Plan for a sad day. Plan for a challenging day. Plan for a hurtful day. Plan for the day you need everything you need to make it through, and you'll make it.
One More Thing
Never feel you don't have any extra to set aside. That is telling the universe that you don't have enough (and it gives you what you believe). So, always believe you have enough -- and, some to set aside.
