What self-limitations have you placed on yourself? Can't start a business? Unable to chat with strangers? Going to Europe is out of the question?
Really? Where did you get the idea that you can't do something?
Try this. Instead of saying you can't do something, say nothing. Then do the very thing you don't think you can do. You will be pleasantly surprised at the outcome.
Or, do what I do. Do the complete opposite. I say I can't possibly work another hour because I'm too tired, then somehow I find the energy to work one more hour. I say I can't assemble an IKEA bookshelf, then somehow I figure out how to assemble it.
It seems we can do just about anything we set our mind to do. I know this has been proven. But, if you're unsure if you can 'go beyond', why don't you put it to the test? Next time you hear yourself say (or think) you can't, just go for it. You'll be pleasantly surprised at how far you can actually make yourself go.
