Hearing the past.

Speak gently to yourself. Not harshly. Not mousey. Gently. See. In your past, you may of had a parent who yelled and belittled you. You internalized that voice -- which is now your inner critic. Or, you may of had a parent, who wasn't comfortable speaking up. This gets internalized as the non-existent voice. An absent cheerleader voice. Find out which voice leads you day in a day out. If your inner voice is critical and harsh, go gentle. If your inner voice is mushy and weak, go strong. Life Is Fabulous!
