On some days, my whole day consists of me sitting at my desk just staring at the same project for hours -- getting absolutely nothing important done. My gym calls to me, the great food in the refrigerator calls to me, or my need to go to Marshalls calls to me. This is Resistance happening (with a capital 'R'). As you get closer to your lifelong goal, Resistance will try and distract you from what is important. When this happens, hang in there. Stay put. Don't give Resistance its way by engaging in self-sabotaging behavior. Beat it down. Outsmart it. Even if you have to sit and stare at your computer, go ahead and stare until you get refocused and working again. Fight it -- and don't stop -- until you beat it to a pulp. Life Is Fabulous!
