A pitcher warms up in the bullpen. In other words, he doesn't just sit in the dugout until it's time for him to pitch; he needs to warm up his arm first. On days that my schedule is particularly difficult, my need to stay in the bullpen lengthens. At some point -- though -- you've got to go out on the field and throw the first pitch. The game can't be won from the dugout. Life Is Fabulous!
